Welcome to Dred Shed HQ.
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Dred Shed HQ website and to appointments and services booked with Dred Shed HQ.
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Dred Shed HQ provides professional hairdressing and barbering services.
Appointments can be booked through the methods made available by Dred Shed HQ, which may include our website, telephone, social media or in person.
When making an appointment, please provide accurate contact information.
Appointments are reserved specifically for you and the time allocated to your appointment may not be available to another customer once booked.
Please check your appointment details carefully, including the date, time and service booked.
Dred Shed HQ may require a deposit to secure certain appointments.
Where a deposit is required, the amount and any applicable conditions will be explained to you before or at the time of booking.
Deposits may be used to protect appointment time and cover reasonable losses arising from late cancellation or non-attendance.
We will not automatically retain a deposit in circumstances where doing so would be unfair or disproportionate.
Where an appointment is cancelled by Dred Shed HQ, or where you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer law, the appropriate refund will be provided.
We understand that plans can change.
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible.
Our preferred cancellation notice period is 48 hours.
Appointments cancelled with sufficient notice will normally be rearranged without charge and, where applicable, the deposit may be transferred to the new appointment.
Where an appointment is cancelled with insufficient notice, we may retain some or all of any deposit paid, provided that this is reasonable and proportionate to the loss suffered by Dred Shed HQ.
Where possible, we will attempt to fill the appointment with another customer in order to reduce any loss.
Cancellation charges will not be applied where doing so would be unfair or disproportionate.
If you fail to attend your appointment without contacting us, this will be treated as a no-show.
A no-show may result in the loss of any deposit paid.
If repeated no-shows occur, Dred Shed HQ may require a larger deposit or full payment in advance before accepting future appointments.
Any such requirement will be explained to you before the appointment is booked.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, we will do our best to provide the booked service.
However, if your lateness means that the full service cannot reasonably be completed without significantly delaying other customers, we may need to shorten, modify or rearrange your appointment.
If an appointment has to be cancelled because of your late arrival, our normal cancellation terms may apply.
We will always try to be reasonable and discuss the available options with you.
Appointment times are estimates.
The length of a haircut, barbering service, colouring service or other treatment may vary depending on:
We will always aim to complete your service as efficiently as possible while maintaining appropriate standards of care.
For certain services, particularly colour changes, restyles, corrective work or significant changes to your appearance, a consultation may be required.
We may recommend a consultation before proceeding with a service where we believe this is necessary to establish:
We reserve the right to decline or modify a service if we reasonably believe carrying it out could cause unnecessary damage to your hair or scalp.
Hair colour results can vary between individuals.
The final result may be affected by:
Where appropriate, we may recommend a patch test and/or strand test before a colour service.
If a required test has not been completed within the required timeframe, we may be unable to carry out the colour service.
We cannot guarantee an exact colour result where previous colour or chemical treatments affect the hair.
Where a patch test is required for a particular service, the test must be completed within the timeframe specified by Dred Shed HQ.
Customers must inform us of any previous reactions to hair products, dyes, chemicals or other treatments.
If a customer fails to disclose relevant information or does not complete a required patch test, Dred Shed HQ may refuse to provide the service.
Please tell your stylist or barber about any known allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions or previous reactions before treatment.
If we believe that carrying out a service may cause harm or irritation, we may recommend postponing or refusing the service.
We will always aim to act reasonably and in the interests of customer safety.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children attend appointments with appropriate supervision where required.
Where a service requires parental or guardian consent, this must be provided before the service begins.
Dred Shed HQ reserves the right to refuse a service where appropriate consent has not been provided.
Our current prices will be displayed or communicated before the service wherever reasonably possible.
Prices may vary depending on:
If the price is likely to be significantly different from the original estimate, we will discuss this with you before proceeding where reasonably practicable.
Payment is due at the end of the appointment unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance.
We accept the payment methods advertised by Dred Shed HQ.
If you request an additional service during your appointment, we will explain any additional cost where reasonably practicable before carrying out the additional work.
Additional services may not always be possible if there is insufficient time available in the appointment.
We want every customer to be happy with their finished style.
If you believe that a service has not been carried out as agreed, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can discuss the issue.
Where appropriate, we may offer a reasonable opportunity to correct or rectify the service.

Under UK consumer law, services must generally be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
